A piece of Italian cycling history. Built with Oria's distinctive star-shaped tubing for aerodynamic advantage and torsional stiffness. Aerodynamic bottom bracket shell. Stelio Belletti was among the first in Italy to use TIG welding for bicycle frames, patenting the technique in 1975. The Polish national team won gold at the 1975 Mettet world championships on Stelbel bikes. Stunning teal with gold decals.
Oria Tubing
Oria, based in Bergamo, produced some of the most inventive steel tubing of the 1980s. Their signature star-shaped cross-section increased torsional rigidity and aerodynamic efficiency while keeping weight low — a radical departure from the round tubes of the era.
About Stelbel

Market Notes
Stelbel frames are rare Italian collectibles — Stelio Belletti produced roughly 1'000 frames total between the early 1970s and 1990. The Strada model with crimped Oria star-shaped tubing (1986–1989) is a distinctive and sought-after variant. Rarity and Italian craftsmanship heritage drive collector interest, though the brand is less widely known than Colnago or De Rosa.
